The most obvious thing you'll see in the Children at Risk 2009 high school rankings, if you start at the top of the list [via Google docs], is three campuses in the Houston Independent School District: Carnegie Vanguard (No. 1), DeBakey High School for Health Professions (No. 2) and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (No. 3). If you start at the very bottom of the list, you'll also see three HISD schools (Worthing, ranking last at No. 131), Kashmere (No. 130) and Scarborough (No. 128). (North Forest ISD's Smiley High School, which has since merged with Forest Brook, is No. 129.)
